Deployment......

Well I haven't been writing as much as i wanted to this deployment but it has been a little crazy my 3 year old son was having a really hard time with his daddy being gone so that was making it a little hard for me to do anything. I was going a little crazy so i tried to figure out everything that i could do so i got him lots of books and DVDs about daddy being gone and i ordered him a daddy doll (he loves it, it goes every where with us) and i have ordered his blanket through the asymca with pics of him and his daddy on it. I don't know what else i can do for him but he is doing a lot better since he got the daddy doll. My husband has now been gone since November and to me it seems like it is dragging by i have been reading lots and lots of books and i have found yet another military wife book that i have fell in love with. The book is called "Confessions of a Military Wife" by Mollie Gross. At night when my son goes to sleep and i finally have some time to my self this book lifts my spirits with the funny things she has wrote not only was she a military spouse she has actually sit down and wrote a book that tells you how it is and not all the stuff that most people want you to hear she has let it all out...so to say.

I have been back home in Kentucky with family since the middle of December and will be heading back to our house in San Diego the middle of this month. While i have been home visiting i have had the time to hang out with some of our old friends from high school and i have to say i have missed some of them but others i haven't. I don't see why some people never grow up and get over all the drama that went on in high school... i mean in the time that i have been home people have started so much crap about me and my husband like "she has moved home because they split up and other crap like that and it drives me insane i mean come on we are over the age of 20 know grow up.

I have been emailing my husband a lot this deployment and i try to send him a package at least every other week. Another thing that i have found to be helping my son is letting him make things to put into the package for daddy and we make something almost everyday but sometimes he looses them before they make it to daddies box lol.

Well i guess that is enough for tonight it is bed time for me know

A Loving Navy Wife who wishes this deployment was over....
