So I havent been on here in a while...

Sorry that i haven't been on here to post in a while my life as a young navy wife in San Diego has been a little crazy. I really wish that my husband wasn't gone so much since he is leaving for a six and a half month deployment in November which sucks because i don't know what I'm going to do I'm going to go crazy lol. Right now I'm trying to finish up my school and then i want to get my certificate for medical assisting because i really hate medical billing and coding it is really gay and so not for me. So right now in my life as a navy wife I'm waiting for my husband to come home and baby sitting for another navy wife which makes this time go by so much faster and it is so nice to have money that i don't have to spend on anything but something that i want. But i gusse it is time for me to go for now.

My new faveorite book

When my husband left for deployment i decided that while i was home with family i had to find something to keep me busy...so while we were in San Diego, CA getting everything moved into our new house i went to the bookstore and bought some more books because i have done read the twilight books like 3 times so i wanted something new. When i started to read them none of them seemed to help me pass the time buy so i got online and started looking for books about being a military wife and i found chicken soup for the military wifes soul and i have fell in love with it. this is our first time being apart since he was in basic training and a-school so it was really hard for me when i had to drop him off at the air port in San Diego to fly back to Norfolk to get on the ship. This book helps me know that im not the only one that has to go through this even though i know that im not the only one because i have alot of friends that have married into the military and are going through the same thing right now and there deployment times are a lot longer than what ours are. There are many great stories in this book and im so glad that i found it to help me survive our first deployment:)

MY Life as a navy wife

Hello my name is Brooke...im 20 years old and yes i am a navy wife. I have been a navy wife for a little over a year now. I graduated from high school in june 2008. Me and my husband dated all through high school we started dating in august of 2006 and in 2007 we found out that i was pregnant with our son that is now 2 and 1/2. Our son was 10 months old when my husband left for basic training. it was hard knowing that my husband was going to miss our sons first birthday and we weren't married when he left and that bothered me alot i kept thinking what if he leaves and doesnt want to come back to me and our son but after he had been in basic training for about two weeks i got a letter from him saying that he wanted to get married when he came home for chirstmas so when he got his leave to come home i drove form kentucky to great lakes to pick him up and we got married on december 23rd 2008...so now im living my life as a navy wife and we are loving it we have already been stationed in norfolk viriginia and now we have moved to san diego california. he is currently on deployment and i miss him so much and will be so glad when he gets back.
